In Canada, relying on narratives for understanding UFO occurrences remains common. We will present ten renowned instances, each rated for credibility.
1. SHAG HARBOUR INCIDENT
On the evening of October 4th, 1967, residents of Shag Harbour reported a strange low-flying lit object. According to five teens, the object entered the water causing a bright splash. To clarify, a depth finder on a boat later confirmed an object. Credibility rating: 85/100.
2. FALCON LAKE CASE
An unusual event transpired at Falcon Lake on May 20th, 1967. Stephen Michalak, a prospector, encountered two UFOs, leading to physical and psychological suffering. The case, extensively investigated, is Canada’s best-documented UFO incident. Credibility rating: 94/100.
3. BELLEVILLE AFFAIR
In 1952, the Royal Canadian Air Force identified a strange object in Belleville’s skies. Despite high-speed pursuits, aircraft could not intercept the fast-moving object. However, the incident remains unsolved. Credibility rating: 80/100.
4. Fox LAKE
Reports of an unusual spectacle over Fox Lake surfaced in January 2000. Bizarre lights reportedly swirled above the lake, captivating onlookers. The spectacle lasted an hour before disappearing suddenly. Credibility rating: 70/100.
5. THE CLARENCEVILLE ENCOUNTER
A UFO reportedly landed near Montreal in Clarenceville in 1977. Mysterious beings allegedly emerged, leaving onlookers spellbound. Witnesses described the individuals as glowing. Credibility rating: 75/100.
6. STEPHENVILLE SIGHTING
A strange object illuminated Stephenville on January 8, 2008. The silent, mile-wide craft confused observers. The local Air Force Base later denied involvement, heightening interest. Credibility rating: 82/100.
7. THE CARP CASE
An anonymous video showing a UFO near Carp surfaced in 1989. Although a man claimed responsibility for the hoax, doubts persist. Few believe it was a mere prank given the details. Credibility rating: 65/100.
8. THE EDMONTON LIGHTS
In February 1960, a series of lights fled from a pursuit aircraft near Edmonton. Upon disappearing, they left air traffic controllers befuddled. Despite an investigation, no answers surfaced. Credibility rating: 72/100.
9. THE VANDENBERG INCIDENT
A UFO reportedly disabled a test missile at Vandenberg Air Force Base in 1964. Later, a film provided evidence, increasing the event’s credibility significantly. Credibility rating: 90/100.
10. MOOSE JAW SPECTACLE
An uncertain episode occurred in Moose Jaw on November 20, 1966. A hostile, grotesque creature reportedly scared four teenagers. Later investigations ruled out known animals, deepening the mystery. Credibility rating: 60/100.
