THE TOP TEN ALIEN ABDUCTION STORIES OF ALL TIME

By Gary Seven

1. BETTY AND BARNEY HILL ABDUCTION

In 1961, Betty and Barney Hill claimed to witness a UFO and subsequent abduction in rural New Hampshire. Their recollection of the incidents included medical examinations and communication with the extraterrestrials. The Hills recounted their story under hypnosis, insisting it wasn’t mere hallucinations or dreams. The detailed narrative – including a star map Betty allegedly recreated later – still stirs intrigue among ufologists.

Barney remembered being walked into a disc-shaped craft where he was laid onto a table. As he described, “the leader said, ‘Just stay there,’ and somehow, I understood.”

2. PASCAGOULA ABDUCTION

In 1973, Charles Hickson and Calvin Parker claimed to be captured by aliens while fishing in Pascagoula, Mississippi. Reports detailed how they were paralyzed by a beam of light, after which they were levitated into the UFO. The description of creatures as having clammy skin, crab-like pincers and a singular pointy ear or antenna-like feature still haunts the annals of ufology.

As Parker recalled, “I felt pain all over. It felt like I was being examined, but I couldn’t move.”

3. ALLAGASH WATERWAY ABDUCTION

Perhaps one of the most chilling abduction themes surrounds the Allagash incident of 1976. Four men undertaking a canoe trip in Maine alleged to witness a UFO, followed by an abduction. They spoke of medical examinations similar to Betty and Barney Hills’ abduction, but additionally they also reported lost time afterwards.

Jim Weiner recounted, “We woke up at the campfire, and the UFO was gone… all that remained were the flickering embers.”

4. THE TRAVIS WALTON CASE

This 1975 incident involves a logger, Travis Walton, who claimed to be abducted by a UFO while working in Arizona. His story was further emboldened by the testimony of his six coworkers who reported seeing the UFO. Walton returned after five days, recounting stories of humanoid and robotic aliens that conducted medical tests on him.

As reported by Walton, “I was terrified. I thought they would never let me go.”

5. THE STAN ROMANEK SAGA

Stan Romanek, an American author, nurtures accounts of encounters and abductions thousands of times since 2000. His claims, some of them backed by video footage and alleged alien communication, make it a unique chapter in the alien abduction saga.

Romanek stated, “They are more advanced than us, not just technologically, but also ethically and morally.”

6. WHITLEY STRIEBER’S ENCOUNTERS

Whitley Strieber’s 1985 experiences have been intensely debated. Strieber, an accomplished fiction writer, claimed multiple abduction incidents involving the infamous ‘grey’ aliens, made popular through his book ‘Communion’.

As Strieber expressed, “I’m not saying that these were physical aliens… but, they were real to me.”

7. THE KELLY–HOPKINSVILLE ENCOUNTER

A classic among UFO encounters, the 1955 incident involving two Kentucky families still baffles researchers. Reports included encounters with small, silver humanoid beings, accompanied by star-like craft.

As the family patriarch said, “I promise you it happened. We saw what we saw.”

8. HERBERT SCHIRMER ABDUCTION

In 1967, Herbert Schirmer, a policeman from Ashland, Nebraska claimed to be abducted by aliens. His story continues to enthral ufologists who still analyse the audio recordings of his hypnotised testimony.

Under hypnosis, Schirmer claimed, “They showed me around the spaceship. It’s like they had nothing to hide.”

9. ANTONIO VILLAS BOAS ABDUCTION

In 1957, Brazilian farmer Antonio Villas Boas stated he was taken aboard a UFO by humanoid aliens. Reports included an intimate encounter with a female alien, making it one of the unique abduction accounts.

Boas reported, “I didn’t want it, but I was forced… They didn’t communicate; they just went about their task.”

10. THE ABDUCTION OF LINDA NAPOLITANO

Napolitano’s 1989 New York City abduction is unique for involving multiple witnesses. They claimed to see her being floated into a large, red UFO, corroborating her own account of the abduction.

Napolitano emotionally stated, “I don’t know why they picked me… but it happened. I can’t forget it.”

Each of these stories presents its own unique slice of the alien abduction phenomena, complete with tangible recollections that encourage ufologists and sceptics alike to continue probing the cosmic corners of this enigma. Additionally, they capture a shared human concern about contact with the unknown, speaking volumes about our position in the universe.
